Shoshana Hebshi sees yoga as a path toward greater inner awareness and peacefulness. Her style is both fluid and strong, attuned to alignment and playfulness and grounded by an intention to quiet the mind, tune in to the breath and allow our inner light to shine brightly. Her classes are approachable and adaptable to yogis of most backgrounds. Shoshana is thrilled to be partnering with Spirit Tours for this Bali retreat, and will offer daily yoga, meditation, chanting and intention-setting practices to encourage total immersion into the experience.
Day 1 – After arrival, we will Travel to Eastern Bali. Enjoy a ride along the coast through beautiful rice fields to Candidasa, a secluded and peaceful seaside area. The evening is free to relax, explore the grounds and dine at the beachfront restaurant. Shoshana will lead an optional slow yoga and meditation this evening.
Day 2 – Today is our day of peace and rejuvenation. After morning yoga, meditation, and breakfast we will enjoy welcome massages. Today we have time to unwind from the long flight, relax and soak-in Bali. This evening, Shoshana will lead an optional slow yoga and meditation before our group welcome dinner.
Day 3 – Following morning yoga, meditation and breakfast, we will travel to Penglipuran, a Beautiful highland community in the Regency of Bangli in East Bali. This traditional Bali village holds on to its heritage and essence and is rarely visited by westerns. Shoshana will lead an optional slow yoga and meditation this evening.
Day 4 – Early morning, yoga, meditation. Today we will learn how to create offerings with an essence. You will learn how to make flower offerings as well as learn traditional Balinese dance which is an offering to the gods. This day is spent slowing down to the pace of Balinese life. Dinner is a Balinese feast followed by a dance performance by Bali’s foremost Gamelan ensemble. Shoshana will lead an optional slow yoga and meditation this evening.
Day 5 – After our morning ritual of yoga, meditation and breakfast, we will visit one of Bali’s last quite white sand beach to bask in the sun and swim in the water.
Day 6 – Early morning yoga, meditation, and breakfast we will visit One of Bali’s most sacred temples Goa Lawah (Bat Cave) Temple and receive an in-depth offering from a Balinese priest. We will then have lunch together and in the afternoon we will visit the beautiful Tirtaganga (water palace). We will dine together this evening in town.
Day 7 – Following our morning ritual, we will journey across Bali to the west. Along the way we will visit another one of Bali’s most revered temples. After offerings and blessings we will arrive at our quite ocean side resort in West Bali.
Day 8 – Early morning yoga, meditation and breakfast. Today we travel by boat Menjengan Island, were we will enjoy a morning of snorkeling in the coral reefs, followed by lunch as a group.
Day 9 – Early morning yoga, meditation and breakfast followed by a free day to enjoy peaceful of the beaches of Tamen Sari. There will be optional SUP board and paddle board excursions. Shoshana will lead an optional slow yoga and meditation this evening followed by our farewell dinner as a group.
Day 10 – After our morning of yoga, meditation and breakfast, we will depart for the airport to return home or onward to your next destination.
