Scotland Add-On to Sacred Ireland Tour – May 24-27 2025

Day 1: May 24, 2025
Fly from Dublin and arrive in Edinburgh, Scotland then check-in to our hotel at the Apex Waterloo Hotel – a 4-star Georgian hotel epitomizes luxury in the heart of Edinburgh. This begins our two days to enjoy Edinburgh on our own with great suggestions of where to go and eat in the city.

Day 2:  May 25, 2025
After breakfast, the morning begins with sacred time. Then you have the entire day free to explore Edinburgh. The “hop on – hop off” bus tour of the city is a convenient way to take in the sites including the Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, Holyrood Abby, and many other points of interest. Hop on and off wherever you’d like! You can decide to visit some galleries, go shopping, or just enjoy one of the most walkable old towns in the UK.

Day 3: May 26, 2025
We’ll get up early, eat breakfast, and leave to make the most of this day trip. Our adventure begins as we start our drive into the beauty and history of Scotland.

After breakfast we take a 2.5-hour morning drive to one of the most famous ruins in Scotland – Dunnottar Castle overlooking the North Sea. Perched atop a 160-foot rock and surrounded on three sides by the North Sea, these dramatic and evocative cliff-top ruins were once an impregnable fortress of the Earl Marischal, once one of the most powerful families in Scotland. Steeped in history, this romantic and haunting ruin is a photographer’s paradise, a history lover’s dream, and an iconic destination.

We’ll lunch at the incredible Creel Inn, a local seafood restaurant with gorgeous views of the water. We’ll make our way back to Edinburgh, stop at a whiskey distillery for a tasting, and enjoy our last night’s stay together in Scotland.

Day 4: May 27, 2025
After breakfast fly back home or continue on your own with suggested excursions for you by Spirit Tours.

Full balance of total tour is due by February 1, 2025

If cancelled outside of 90 days of tour date – full refund minus $400 nonrefundable deposit
If cancelled between 89 and 61 days – 50% is refundable minus $400 nonrefundable deposit
If cancelled within 60 days – No Refund

Trip Insurance (Cancellation/Interruption/Medical) highly recommended and medical insurance required for all international tours. Assistance with insurance and airfare are available through Spirit Tours.
