Experience the fascinating culture and artistic treasures of Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Cruise the Mekong River for 5 days; explore the ancient ruins of Angkor Wat, and stroll along a beach in Vietnam.
Day 1 – We arrive in Luang Prabang , Laos nestled in the hills of northern Laos, the tranquil city of Luang Prabang — designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, which is studded with dozens of ornate temples and brimming with colorful markets and French colonial architecture.
Day 2 – Luang Prabang – Embarkation (D)
At 2:00PM, embark on RV Mekong Sun – an elegant Laotian ship which is known as the first German – Laotian vessel containing cabins cruising on the upper Mekong. Settle into your cabin and unpack your luggage for an amazing 5 – day cruise.
After that, enjoy the warm welcome and dinner with an interesting menu of Western and Asian food while the ship starts cruising downstream Mekong River to the places where used to know as the inaccessible parts.
Day 3 – Luang Prabang – Kuang Si (B/L/D)
To start our morning inland excursion, we will pay a visit one of the most famous falls in Laos – the Kuang Si waterfalls. Then, we will continue to cruise to the south of the mighty Mekong river where we will have an opportunity to visit a hidden Buddha cave and do some trekking to explore the nature here.

Day 4 – Tha Deua (B/L/D)
Today, we will pass through an impressive architecture in Laos – the Xayaburi – dam. Enjoy your delicious breakfast on board while a lecture of Laos’ history and culture is presented. Or else, you can contemplate the peaceful landscapes and the daily life of the fishermen on the shore. Plus, you can feel free to relax and spoil yourself in the comfort and convenience onboard
Day 5 – Pak Lay (B/L/D)
Continue cruising downstream to the quaint riverside community of Pak Lai where owns numerous outstanding colonial constructions. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of landscape which dotted with small villages and some herds of cattle.
Day 6 – Arrival in Vientiane (B)
Take time to relax and enjoy the gorgeous monuments along the riverbanks before we arrive at the capital of Vientiane.
Today we will fly from Vientine to Siem Reap in Cambodia to visit the temples of Angkor. These temples were built between 802AD and 1220AD by the Khmer civilization and represent one of the humankind’s most amazing and lasting architectural achievements.
Day 7 – This morning we will rise early to chant with the monks and then visit the West Gate of the Angkor Wat Temple complex at sunrise. There are few places anywhere on earth to match the splendor of Angkor Wat.
Day 8 – After Morning Prayer, Meditation and breakfast we will visit the temple complex of Angkor Thom. At the center of the city is Jayavarman’s state temple, the Bayon with the other major sites clustered around the Victory Square immediately to the north. The afternoon is dedicated to free time and to exploring Siem Reap. After we dine together we will fly to Danang Vietnam and then be transferred by bus to Hoi An 35 minutes away
Day 9 -Hoi An, is a small town on the bank of Thu Bon river in the central of Quang Nam province. It is one of the most famous destinations in the middle part of Viet Nam. This morning there is free time to rest from the late arrival and tour the town on you own. In the afternoon, we will walk to the ancient town, visit the Kwan Temple , Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, Tan Ky old House, Japanese Bridge.
Day 10 – Today is a free day. We will venture to Ang Bang. Which is a nice sandy beach, calm clear sea, and not too crowded. We suggest being lazy and just sit and enjoy one of the private huts looking over the beautiful sea. There will be an opportunity for lunch at a seaside restaurant on your own
