Open your heart, quiet your mind, and be in the presence of deep spiritual wisdom on this immersive sacred journey to Bali.
Travel with Unity and Spirit Tours have partnered together to deliver a divine 11-day pilgrimage that offers more than a tropical escape—it is an invitation to reconnect with your soul through the beauty, serenity, and sacred traditions of the Balinese people.
Known as the Island of the Gods, Bali radiates a spiritual energy that draws seekers from around the world. On this sacred journey, we’ll explore the island’s lush landscapes, ancient temples, and peaceful beaches—not as tourists, but as honored guests (family) invited into the heart of Balinese culture and ceremony.
Spirit Tours has a history of over 20 years in Bali. Thanks to this unique connection, our sacred journey provides special access to sites and temples that few tourists can experience. Travel with Unity ensures your journey is curated for Unity (New Thought/Spiritual) participants – create new friendships, learn new rituals, and return home renewed.

SUMMARY OF ITINERARY
Upon arrival, you’re escorted to Candi Dasa, a secluded and peaceful seaside village in Eastern Bali. Our home in Candi Dasa is a peaceful beachfront resort, the Ramayana Candidasa Ocean Resort. All rooms are decorated with Balinese harmony in mind. This will be home base for our Bali retreat for the first five days where you shall be treated like family. Relax into the island’s slower pace with the sound of waves and the scent of frangipani in the air. The day is yours to unwind, explore the resort’s beachfront, take a dip in the beautiful pool overlooking the ocean, or simply rest from your travels. The evening is for dining on your own at the resort’s oceanfront dining room.
After a delicious breakfast buffet, we’ll have our opening circle to get to know one another and set intentions for our time in Bali. You’ll receive a complimentary welcome massage during the today. Begin to appreciate the simple Balinese way of life where every moment is a gift of harmony and balance. We intentionally slow down to a quieter pace and spend a day of peace and rejuvenation. The day ends with a blessing at the resort temple and a Welcome Dinner at our oceanfront restaurant.
Meals Included: Breakfast and Dinner
Every day before starting our spiritual practice we practice a smudging ceremony with incense, bless ourselves with water and receive a flower. Today, you learn the significance of the Balinese Hindu Trinity and practice this ritual – one that you can take home with you.
Following breakfast and our sacred group time, we travel along the coast to visit the Pura Goa Lawah and receive an in-depth offering from a Balinese priest.
Pura Goa Lawah, the “Bat Cave Temple” is one of Bali’s holiest temples and is revered for ancestral prayers and spiritual purification. It is this temple where the Balinese pray and say goodbye to loved ones they have lost. This is our opportunity to pray and reflect on those we have lost – our loved ones who have passed, and our ancestors. There is also an opportunity to release unwanted fears, sadness, limiting beliefs, and patterns that you know no longer serve you.
Take time for reflection upon return, perhaps journaling by the sea or walking the shore at sunset. Dinner is on own at the resort or nearby recommended restaurants.
Meal Included: Breakfast
After breakfast, join an optional snorkeling trip to the breathtaking Blue Lagoon, known for its vibrant coral reefs and clear turquoise waters. No experience needed—you can float, snorkel, or simply enjoy being out on the water in the private boat. There is also an opportunity to participate in a Bali Cooking Class if snorkeling isn’t your thing.
Meals Included: Breakfast and Dinner
We begin the day with breakfast and our sacred group time. Our day of beauty and deep renewal continues as we travel to Tirta Gangga, a magical water palace set amidst rice terraces and mountain backdrops. Here, you’re invited to immerse yourself in sacred spring water that flows from beneath a 1,000-year-old Banyan tree—believed to be infused with healing energy.
The centerpiece of the palace is an eleven-tiered fountain and there are many beautiful carvings and statues adorning the gardens. as well as an amazing stone labyrinth to walk upon the water. The upper pool is for bathing so bring your swimsuit. Just outside the palace grounds, the views of the lush rice paddies of northeastern Bali are stunning.
We then have lunch at a special sea view restaurant.
Meals Included: Breakfast and Lunch
Today we journey to the artistic and spiritual hub of Bali—Ubud. Along the way, enjoy scenic drives past terraced rice fields and villages. Our sanctuary in Ubud is the serene and elegant Komaneka Rasa Sayang Resort, just steps from shops, cafés, and temples along Monkey Forest Road. Ubud is the home to Bali’s famous art museums and is a shopper’s paradise. The Ubud market has an exotic and vast array of locally produced handicrafts.
Meals Included: Breakfast and Dinner
We make appointments for those who wish to receive a 90-minute, Balinese massage at Ubud’s old style family run Nur Salon with its Mandi Lulur or flower bath massage treatment (definitely one of the most popular optional experiences on our tours). And before/after your 90-minutes of bliss, you’ll be able to “shop ’til you drop” in Ubud. Truly a treat on every street. You can also relax by the endless pool at our resort if you’re not big on shopping.
Meal Included: Breakfast
This morning you may enjoy a sunrise, guided walk through the rice fields.
Later in the afternoon, we visit Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple. It is one of the least visited temple complexes on the island of Bali yet is one of the most beautiful and tranquil. It features verdant gardens around ponds filled with carp and blooming lotuses, and ancient shrines surrounded by crystal clear pools fed by natural springs. The temple is dedicated to the God Vishnu (rules over water); enjoy this sacred temple and collect holy water from Bali.
On the way back to our resort, you may want to participate in an optional, additional activity – The Bali Swing – for panoramic views of terrace rice fields. It even includes choosing a beautiful flowing dress. If not, you return directly to Ubud for dinner on your own.
Meal Included: Breakfast
Following breakfast and our group sacred time, we take a pilgrimage to the west coast of Bali, to visit the famous seaside temple, Tanah Lot (Land in the Sea). This temple was founded by a Brahman priest from Java, named Nirartha. He is believed to have been seen meditating on this rock in the 16th Century. The local villagers saw a light shining down where he was meditating and built a temple there in his honor. The temple sits on a large offshore rock, which has been shaped continuously over the years by the ocean tide. At the base of the rock is a holy freshwater spring; we receive blessings before our prayer service and then have exclusive access inside the holy temple where tourists are not allowed.
Meal Included: Breakfast
The morning begins with breakfast and spiritual practice. You have time to do last minute shopping before we transfer to the Puri Santrian Beach Resort & Spa in Sanur Beach. Puri Santrian is a modern Balinese resort strategically positioned on the beach at the tranquil southern end of Sanur. We have the afternoon and evening free to relax at their pools or go for an evening swim in the Indian Ocean. Dinner is on your own.
Meal Included: Breakfast
Today is our final full day in Bali. You’ll have most of the rest of the day free to explore, go to the beach, visit a waterfall, shop for jewelry/wood carvings at our preferred stores, or spend time at the spa. In the late afternoon, we’ll have our closing circle and then enjoy a Celebration Dinner together.
