Marion and I are still feeling the impact of our trip to Bali with Karen and Spirit Tours. We can summarize the trip in two words: priceless and affordable. It was a sacred journey, filled with fun and enjoyment. There were landmarks to explore, reflecting the spiritual history of Bali and temples uniquely built, creating sacred spaces with gorgeous flowers blooming everywhere.

I must admit that, at first, I was a tag along. My wife, Marion, signed up almost immediately when the trip was announced. But something kept pulling at me and ultimately, I decided to go. It was one of those decisions I will never regret. The hospitality and friendliness of the native people, their spirituality 24/7 was infectious, the scenery, temples, and accommodations were all amazing. Thank You Spirit Tours! It is a trip we will never forget!!!

We loved the Egypt trip with Spirit Tours. When you travel with Spirit Tours, you get the full experience of the destination, and you get a spiritual connection with friends that travel with you. Most of our longest and closest relationships are with friends we met on travel journeys (Costa Rica, Bhutan, Bali, and Egypt).

The Egypt experience was fantastic. We stayed at the best location in Cairo, directly next to the pyramids. When you looked out of your room, there they were. It was a great start, with private visits to both the pyramids and the Cairo Museum. Then we went onward to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings. A highlight of the trip was the Nile cruise and being together on our private boat.

Since I was a little girl, my dream has been to explore Egypt. To say I was “blown away” is an understatement. Spirit Tours is not your everyday Tour Company. Spirit Tours made sure that our every need was met, from arrival to departure. Karen and her team went beyond our expectations, throwing in surprises and unexpected turns to make sure we experienced more than we thought we ever could. Our meals and travel arrangements were first class. The hotels were 5-Stars.  We were treated like royalty, especially on the boat ride down the Nile.

Our daily sacred gatherings enabled a group of complete strangers to become lifelong friends. Karen’s spiritual topics hit home and gave us time to think, reflect, and discuss. This was not just a tour for me; it was a fulfillment of a dream with the best lifelong memories I could ever hope to possess.

Thank you, Spirit Tours, for the life changing experience touring Bali. The trip was curated beautifully with gorgeous and comfortable hotel accommodations, delicious meals, outstanding guides, fabulous drivers and special access to sacred Hindu temples and ceremonies. There was great balance between opportunities to explore the sites, down time to relax with amazing massages, pools and beaches; as well as participating in spiritual and cultural activities (group time, making floral offerings, traditional dances, receiving bracelets from Hindu priests). 

As a solo traveler, I felt welcomed, safe, and included in all the activities. I made lifelong friends. Spirit Tours owner, Karen Fry, does an outstanding job of working with locals to create a fabulous experience. It was fun and deepened my spiritual understanding of reverence and devotion through interacting with the Balinese people.

The Wild Atlantic Way Spirit Tours trip in Ireland was a deeply moving experience. I leaned into the opportunity to know and to feel the Celtic Spirit of the land and its people, guided by our Spiritual Leader and our Irish guide. Spirit Tours took great care of us with lovely accommodations, delightful adventures (baby goats!!), and deeply meaningful activities (Saint Brigid’s Well).

 I found a balance of quality time and interactions with my fellow travelers, and wonderful time alone to reflect and absorb the beauty and magic of the Emerald Isle. Spirit Tours provides an experience like no other and I look forward to traveling with them again!
